LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

I hope that my catering business can be of service to you.  As background for helping you make a decision, I would like to tell you about my staff, our capabilities, and myself.  I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, and I formed my own catering company in 1971.  My son and CEO, Phillip Nussbaumer, also graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Tourism, Food and Lodging.  After considerable experience as a restaurant manager in the Nashville area, Phillip returned in 1990 to join the family business. The company has steadily grown through the years principally by word‑of‑mouth.

I am known in Knoxville as the "Gourmet Caterer". I was certified as an Executive Chef by the American Culinary Federation in 1993.  I have a large staff and everything is prepared in our kitchens.  We do all types of social events which include:  sit‑down and buffet dinners, cocktail and party buffets with either light or heavy hors d'oeuvres, receptions, luaus, picnics, box lunches, etc.  As specialists in off-site catering, we can accommodate any size and type of event; our wide selection of homemade specialty menus can be tailored to fit anyone's budget.
